Urban Decay 15yr Anniversary Eyeshadow Collection

I purchased this beautiful palette last weekend at Sephora.  It has 15 all new shades!!! I was so excited about that because I have a shadow box and it seems as though when they come out with shadow boxes the decoration may change but they tend to have some of the same colors, particularly mildew, snatch, smog, and flash.  Now don’t get me wrong, these are very pretty colors, I just don’t need multiples of them. I purchased my shadow box last Christmas from the Sephora website.  Honestly I don’t use it often.  For a while, I forgot I even had it.  I remembered it when I started looking at other shadow boxes on Sephora’s website that were at reduced prices.  I had to go back and check for duplicate colors and needless to say I didn’t get the newer shadow boxes.  Everyone knows that Urban Decay has amazingly pigmented products.  The con for me is that the majority of these are frosty.  I wish they would use more textures.

Below is the 1st Shadow Box that I purchased last Christmas

Well one item I did use A LOT was the 24/7 glide on eyepencil in Zero (black).  That’s what’s missing from the middle of the box. LOL! 😀

Here is my new 15yr Anniversary Eyeshadow Collection. The packaging is stunning.  It was hard to photograph because the top really looks like a mirror.  Those purple jewels…. wow! Beautiful!  If nothing else, you know that packing is fabulous and fancy. Ha ha!

Check out the beautiful purple velour on the bottom.
Even the sides of the packaging is pretty.  Can you see the nice etching?

Here they are! All 15 new colors. Starting from top left and going across: Midnight Rodeo, Tainted, Deeper, Midninght 15, Junkshow, M.I.A., Vanilla, Omen, Ace, Flow, Evidence, Blackout, Chase, Deep End, and Half Truth.  I swatched the last four on my fingers and then applied them to my hand. Look at the color intensity! It’s super pigmented.

On the left w/o flash.

On the right w/flash.

Yes! They are gorgeous! I still had quite a bit of color left after I swiped my hand. A little of these shadows will go a long way. Definitely glad I purchased it.

I'm so excited – I just bought mine yesterday – it was the first UD product that I 've purchased. Did you know they are full size pans? this kit is $255 value. xoxo
