I went back to my Ulta Grey Polish again called Concrete Evidence. It’s such an odd color to me but I really want to make it work. See my 1st attempt at working with it here.
I tried a design with more shimmer this time and without the shattered polishes.
I like this one a lot. It’s something about that shimmer/glitter effect that makes me prefer this one over the first attempt. This look was definitely easier to do. It required less polishes as well as less work. I initially got the idea of having my whole nail be shimmery and glittery as a result of messing up the first design. LOL! I then tried to “fix it” by adding a little more Kiss Nail Art in Silver Glitter, but it ended up being too much. Later I decided I was going to just polish the nail art glitter all over my nail to see what happens. Hey, the worse thing that could happen was that I didn’t like it and I could then take off the color and try something else.
I topped it off with one of my favorite polishes by KleanColor called Aurora, which is a beautiful confetti polish with pink stars. I use it all of the time to add a little extra to my designs. Then I added a coat of Wet n Wild Party of 5 Glitter polish. Lastly I finished it with Cult Nails Wicked Fast clear polish.
What are you wearing on your nails for the week?
