Review of Cover Girl Queen Collection 3 in 1 Foundation

I happened to see the Cover Girl Queen Collection 3 in 1 Foundation last week while browsing the cosmetics department of HEB Grocery Store. CGQ 3in1 Bottle

I’m sure you know by now that I’m a HUGE fan of Cover Girl Queen Collection. I use the Bronzing Powder in Ebony Bronze and the Stay Matte Powder almost daily. If you check my FOTD posts, you’ll see these products listed a lot.

This is my 1st time trying a liquid foundaiton from this line. I tried the cream foundation and it was pretty good so I was eager to give the 3 in 1 a chance.   I kept going back and forth between this Brulee’ and the next darkest color,  but ultimately I decided on Brulee’. CGQ 3in1 Brulee Here’s what it looks like on my skin.CGQ on armCGQ swatch on armCGQ Blended on arm I’m sure you want to see what it actually looks like on my face. I dabbed and dabbed over and the dark spot but it still shows through the foundation. CGQ Final look Overall, I really like the Cover Girl Queen Collection 3 in 1 Foundation.  I love how it feels on my skin.  This is the very 1st foundation I’ve ever used that lived up to the claim of a “powder finish”.  I wore it today without a primer or finishing spray and I can honestly report that I wasn’t an oil slick!!!! There was a little bit of shine but not enough to annoy me. That’s incredible!!! 🙂

I’m very impressed with everything about this foundation EXCEPT the fact that it truly doesn’t provide full coverage.  I’d classify it as medium.  If you really have dark spots or scars that need to be covered, this foundation alone will not cover it.  You’ll still need some concealer or a powder foundation on top.
