Neiman Marcus Spring 2012 Beauty Event

I attended the Neiman Marcus Spring 2012 Beauty Event last night with my sorority sisters and had a wonderful time.  It was held at the Houston Galleria Mall.  All of the  cosmetic and fragrance counters were engaging with the customers to show the latest products.

This event was well attended and the organizers did a great job putting it together because it appeared to run very smoothly.

Customers were able to receive demos

Below is a picture of my Line Sister Pam getting her make up done by a make up artist at Guerlain.

There was a live DJ on the “ones and twos”. 🙂

There was also a photographer there to help the customers capture the moment.  Fun props were available to spice up the pictures. 🙂

The employees seemed to enjoy themselves as well and were very friendly.  Good customer service is always a plus.

I was very excited to go to the Tom Ford counter.  I’ve heard great things about this brand, especially the lipsticks.

Below, I’m wearing a beautiful color called Wild Ginger.  It’s more orange than the picture shows.  For some reason it appears more red on here.  It’s a bit darker than MAC Morange. Can you guess how much it costs?

You probably guessed too low.  It costs $48…Yes $48.  Needless to say, I was determined to take a picture wearing it because I may not ever get the chance again. LOL!  There was also a really pretty coral blush called Flush, it was $54.  I didn’t put it on though.

There were different set ups focusing on beauty tips for the spring.  Below is one of them that focussed on eyes.

Here’s a closer look at the mannequin. The products are the same ones that came in the few goodie bags given out to the very first customers that arrived.  Unfortunately, I didn’t make it in time to get one. 🙁  The tote came free with $100 purchase.

We had a blast.

My Sorors and I.  From Left to Right: LaTesha, Pamela, Charlenette, Tamecia, and Me (LeRenda) at the bottom. I love these ladies. 🙂
