Houston International Fashion Week Part 2

This is the 2nd installment of my coverage of the Houston International Fashion Week.  To see part 1 click here.  I’m going to pick up where I left off after the Runway of International Flags.  Next up was a live performance of a traditional Asian Dance. There was a table in the vendors’ section with more info on this traditional dance.

Next up was local Fashion Designer Tekay Fashions

I was in love with the dress above.

This was another favorite of mine

The fabric and details of this dress above was gorgeous!

Below is the designer and owner of Tekay Fashions on the left, walking with a model on the right,  down the runway.

During Intermission there was a children’s segment. These kids were really working the runway.

The Fashion show resumed with the models and more great ensembles were displayed.
There was a great range of Men’s Casual Wear
Here are some of the other pieces that were presented to us
On the 2nd day of Houston International Fashion Week. I was the make up artist for the models.  Due to me being behind the scenes, I didn’t get a chance to take pictures to cover the event, but I was able to get a picture of me working and the finished look of one of my models.  See below. 🙂
