Grey and Silver Nails Of The Week

I went back to my Ulta Grey Polish again called Concrete Evidence. It’s such an odd color to me but I really want to make it work. See my 1st attempt at working with it here.Grey and Silver Polish Bottles
I tried a design with more shimmer this time and without the shattered polishes.

I like this one a lot. It’s something about that shimmer/glitter effect that makes me prefer this one over the first attempt.Grey and Silver Nails Holding Silver GlitterThis look was definitely easier to do.  It required less polishes as well as less work.  I initially got the idea of having my whole nail be shimmery and glittery as a result of messing up the first design. LOL! I then tried to “fix it” by adding a little more Kiss Nail Art in Silver Glitter, but it ended up being too much.  Later I decided I was going to just polish the nail art glitter all over my nail to see what happens.  Hey, the worse thing that could happen was that I didn’t like it and I could then take off the color and try something else.Grey and Silver Nail Art Close

I topped it off with one of my favorite polishes by KleanColor called Aurora, which is a beautiful confetti polish with pink stars. 🙂 I use it all of the time to add a little extra to my designs. Then I added a coat of Wet n Wild Party of 5 Glitter polish. Lastly I finished it with Cult Nails Wicked Fast clear polish.

What are you wearing on your nails for the week?
