MAC and Nasty Gal collaborated to provide makeup lovers with a bold December collection.  It includes Lipsticks and a Nail Lacquer.

Here are the lipsticks below.BeautyByLeRenda MAC and Nasty Gal Lipsticks with flashFrom Left to Right Gunner, Runner, Stunner.

I didn’t get the nail laquer because I have plenty of red polishes that I never use.  I’ll swatch all 3 lipsticks in this post to show you what they look like.  First up is Stunner.

With all of the options for makeup gifts this holiday season, it can be difficult sometimes to narrow down what to get.  To help customers really decide what to purchase, MAC has been having incredible events to promote this year’s Heirloom Mix Collection.

 image

I only worked two of these events due to me being booked with my freelance business (which is a blessing, not complaining :-)). Both events were fun and totally busy.  I didn’t get to take a lot of pictures, but here’s a glimpse.

These pictures are from the Level A event

These are from the Level AA Event.  This was my 1st time working a Level AA. I hope to do it again. It was so much fun. Didn’t feel like work at all. :-)

imageThe models/dancers were phenomenal!! They put on a show about every 15-30min.  I got to take a pic with one of them.  He was absolutely FIERCE!

I just realized that I never got around to posting my love for the Viva Glam Rhianna 2 Lipglass.  It’s even pretty in the tube!!

imageIt has Rhianna’s autograph on it just like the original Viva Glam Rhianna.

imageimageimage

I’m wearing Viva Glam Rhianna 2 Lipglass alone in these pictures.  It can definitely be worn with a lip pencil and/or lipstick, but I think it’s absolutely gorgeous by itself.

imageHow can I describe this Lipglass??

It’s like magic in a tube.  Viva Glam Rhianna 2 Lipglass is a beautiful iridescent sparkly clear gloss that reflects the light and appears to change colors depending on the angle that you look at it.

image In this post I’ll show you three more dark lip looks that I experimented with for Halloween that can still be used with the Fall/Winter Trend.  1st up is a MAC Limited Edition Matteen called Midnight Media.imageimageimage Here’s what it looks like alone on my lipsimage image Next I added my beloved MAC Vanilla Pigment.

In the previous post I experimented with MAC Black Knight Lipstick. In this post I’ll be using Wet N Wild Lipstick Pagan Angel from the Fergie Collection.  image I love everything about this lipstick. I did a review of it last year but didn’t really wear it. Pagan Angel was the 1st lipstick that came to mind when I decided to go with dark lips for Halloween. imageimage

Since I used the MAC GlimmerGlass in Blackware in the previous post, I decided to try something different and go with more sparkle and gloss.  I used MAC GlimmerGlass in Bling Black on top to get this effect.imageHere’s what this combo looks like on my lips below image

*Remember my disclaimer about trying to decide what eye look to pair with my dark lips.  I wouldn’t normally have two different ones on. Ha! *

This Wet N Wild Pagan Angel is by far my favorite black lipstick. #1 it’s inexpensive. #2 it has great staying power. #3  it feels really good on my lips. It’s nice and creamy. Good job Wet N Wild! I wish I would’ve purchased two of these last year because I’m not sure if this color is still available.

Every year around this time, people tend to get rid of their bright pink, orange, lavender, and coral lip colors in exchange for darker berries, purples, burgundies, browns, and even black lip colors.

In this series, I’m going to show you some of the colors I’ll be using this season. Starting off with my variation of Black Lips. image **Now before I go any further, I want to give a disclaimer. I was doing practice looks for Halloween when I took most of these pictures, hence the bright blue wig and the mismatched eye makeup. Ha ha! I couldn’t decide whether to go with dark eyes or more neutral eyes. I was also trying to decide which black combo to use. **

I began with MAC Black Knight Lipstick. image  Due to Black Knight being a Cremesheen, it goes on pretty sheer. image  This looks more like a dark purple than black, so I added Urban Decay Perversion Pencil.  It’s the smoothest & blackest pencil I have.

image image The Perversion Pencil made a big difference. I was curious to see how a glossier lip would look, so I added MAC Blackware GlimmerGlass.  image image image I really like the high shine effect that I got from using Blackware GlimmerGlass.  image Stay tuned for Part 2 of my Dark Lip Fall/Winter 2014 Trend series.
