MAC and Nasty Gal collaborated to provide makeup lovers with a bold December collection.  It includes Lipsticks and a Nail Lacquer.

Here are the lipsticks below.BeautyByLeRenda MAC and Nasty Gal Lipsticks with flashFrom Left to Right Gunner, Runner, Stunner.

I didn’t get the nail laquer because I have plenty of red polishes that I never use.  I’ll swatch all 3 lipsticks in this post to show you what they look like.  First up is Stunner.

The last lipstick is Gunner. BeautyByLeRenda MAC and Nasty Gal Gunner Lipstick with flash

imageimageThis is my All-Time Favorite Red to use on clients. The name of this color is Patriotic, and it’s theeeeee perfect shade of red and works on everyone I use it on. image For this look, I didn’t even use a lip liner. The color is just that perfect!! :-)

I’m going to start right off by saying “Go Get This Lip Palette!!!” No…really…you should purchase this palette.

image(The top of my palette is stained from me spraying Beauty So Clean Sanitizing Spray over time.  It started off clear)  The Primary Infinity Palette is an absolute staple in my Professional Makeup Artist Kit. I can create all kinds of looks with this one palette.  These colors are very vibrant, not at all sheer, and easy to blend.  They are just the right creamy texture; not too thick.  They apply well to the skin without being too greasy.  Even though it’s a lip palette, the Primary Infinity Palette can effortlessly be blended into pretty cheek colors.

Below, I’ll show you how I created a gorgeous burgundy Fall lip on model Keneice for our photoshoot with talented Houston photographer Ambient Noir.

imageimageFirst I used my spatula to scoop out some red, purple, and black.  Then I mixed those colors together until I got the color burgundy that I wanted.image I later added MAC Cremestick Lip Liner in Velvetella.

Here’s what it looks like.imageimageimageModel Keneice did a fantastic job werkin the camera! It was such a pleasure doing her makeup. :-)

image Stay tuned for my next post where I’ll use the same Magnolia Makeup Primary Infinity Lip Palette to create a pretty red lip on Keneice.

image In this post I’ll show you three more dark lip looks that I experimented with for Halloween that can still be used with the Fall/Winter Trend.  1st up is a MAC Limited Edition Matteen called Midnight Media.imageimageimage Here’s what it looks like alone on my lipsimage image Next I added my beloved MAC Vanilla Pigment.

In the previous post I experimented with MAC Black Knight Lipstick. In this post I’ll be using Wet N Wild Lipstick Pagan Angel from the Fergie Collection.  image I love everything about this lipstick. I did a review of it last year but didn’t really wear it. Pagan Angel was the 1st lipstick that came to mind when I decided to go with dark lips for Halloween. imageimage

Since I used the MAC GlimmerGlass in Blackware in the previous post, I decided to try something different and go with more sparkle and gloss.  I used MAC GlimmerGlass in Bling Black on top to get this effect.imageHere’s what this combo looks like on my lips below image

*Remember my disclaimer about trying to decide what eye look to pair with my dark lips.  I wouldn’t normally have two different ones on. Ha! *

This Wet N Wild Pagan Angel is by far my favorite black lipstick. #1 it’s inexpensive. #2 it has great staying power. #3  it feels really good on my lips. It’s nice and creamy. Good job Wet N Wild! I wish I would’ve purchased two of these last year because I’m not sure if this color is still available.
