I finally came to terms that it’s the Fall season, even though in Houston it doesn’t feel that way. In order to stay in trend, I am going to step away from my beloved corals and oranges that I rocked during the Summer and incorporate a bolder and darker lip. I’m revisiting my M.A.C. lipglass in Afrobella’s All My Purple Life. It was a limited edition product from the M.A.C. Bloggers Collection. This time I’ve paired it with 3 different lip liners. 1.) Blackberry Champagne, 2.) Current by Coastal Scents, and 3.) Prune by Coastal Scents. Check out my first experience with All My Purple Life Lipglass here.
The first color is Blackberry Champagne. It’s not a true purple, it’s more of a deep berry however it blends well with All My Purple Life. I apologize for not giving you the brand. Honestly I don’t know who makes it. It came with my make up kit that I received after taking Ebony Mac of Colored Beauty Make Me Over class.
The next color is Coastal Scents Current, which is actually close to M.A.C.’s Currant lip pencil (one of my fave). It’s not really purple either. It’s like a really dark red.
Last is Coastal Scents Prune. This color is actually in the purple family, which is not what I expected. I thought it would’ve been more of a burgundy/berryish color. I liked this combo the best.
Have you tried to wear purple lips? If so, what’s your favorite combination?
